Noah– We welcomed Yom HaAtzmaut on a boat on the Sea of Galilee. We had a dank rave. (Reb Scott translation: The students on our trip went out on a chartered boat together and danced to loud Israeli and American music. There were some colorful lights.) It was windy, and we danced and had a great time. We could see fireworks happening in a couple of places on the shore.
AJ– At Kfar Kedem, we dressed up as people from time of the Mishnah in the second century. We learned about harvesting and threshing wheat, rode donkeys and made really good pita. It was a great experience. I especially loved my donkey, whom I named Fredrickson. He was nice and let me pet him. I will remember you forever, Fredrickson.
