#GivingTuesday Allows The World to Think Like Mirowitz Students

When Mirowitz students learn about something that needs help, they want to pitch in. The prairie has been nearly destroyed? They restore it! People don’t have enough to eat? They bring in extra cans for the food pantry! Their profound understanding that we have the power to affect positive change nourishes me every day.Unknown-1

You may have heard of “Giving Tuesday,” a nation-wide effort to make the entire world think like Mirowitz students. “Giving Tuesday” counters “Black Friday” (that is spent on consumption) by helping us focus on being generous.

Unknown-2When you are thinking about your own family’s philanthropy, we ask you to consider Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School among your top priorities. Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to give back to the school that nourishes your children every day. Help us provide your children with the best education possible. They deserve nothing less.

Every donation matters, which is why we are having a raffle of spirit wear for every donor who makes a gift on Giving Tuesday. If you can, we hope you will consider joining our Elijah’s Circle with a gift of $1800 or more, or sponsoring our annual gala on April 26 for $1000.

Donate online using a credit card, or contact Margo Newman to donate appreciated securities. Unknown

Thank you for supporting the work of our phenomenal teachers, who give every ounce of their energy to foster leadership in your incredible children!

Shabbat Shalom,

Morah Cheryl
