Conferences and Our Sacred Partnership

March 22, 2021

Mirowitz teachers and parents are a team. Together we celebrate a child’s greatness, and together we work through challenging moments. Together we strive to give them an idyllic childhood and also to “teach them to swim.”

The parent teacher conferences we will hold today and tomorrow are an opportunity to connect as your child’s team of adults. We will share information about academic progress and discuss both strengths and challenges.

But our work goes far beyond the mechanics of the conference…for we know that the job of raising children is holy work.

There’s a text in the Talmud that says that parents must teach their children three things: Torah, a trade and to swim.

At Mirowitz, in a sacred parent-teacher partnership we nourish the soul, we prepare children for success in life and teach them to stay afloat amidst the rocky waters that inevitably will come their way.

The best way to help move every child to her or his potential is together, as a team of loving adults who want the very best for each child. Thanks in advance for taking the time to partner with us! It is a privilege to be invited into the sacred task of helping you raise your children.

Shabbat Shalom!
